Foundation of the board was laid down by by Lt. General (Rtd) Khalid Maqbool on 12 March 2002, he was Governor of Punjab that was a great work done by the government. There are many people those are interested and take part in the examination of board. This board contains many areas those are under its jurisdiction and they are running under its rules and regulation in those areas there are DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah and Rajanpur. Punajb education commission that was PEC was formed in the year 2005 with the main purpose to conduct examination and also to manage them for 5th and 8th class although these examinations are not compulsory but many students appear in them for good results and future.

There are many students who appear in examination as regular and private students and they want to pass examination as these examination are conducted in the month of February and students then get excited for results as per board result will be announced on 31st march that will be on the official website of the board and we will also display it.
