This board has many areas those are under its jurisdiction and those areas are DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layah and Rajanpur. Punjab education commission was formed in the year 2005 that was formed with the main purpose to conduct and manage the examination those are for 5th and 8th class and after that is provides students with certificates. Main purpose of the board is to conduct examination for 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class examination.
